DUBAI: If you’ve been planning to invite your parents, relatives or friends to Dubai, you might want to do it sooner rather than later. Dubai Invite programme has received more than 10,000 applications within just 48 hours of launching, and the response has been so strong that authorities are now reviewing the limit on the number of reward packages available.
Dubai tourism hits record 19.59 million visitors in 2025
The initiative, launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), rewards UAE residents and citizens for bringing family and friends to Dubai. And we’re not talking about small perks. Eligible residents can unlock reward packages worth more than AED3,000, including hotel discounts, attraction offers, restaurant deals and transport benefits.

As per agency reports the response had been far bigger than expected. The DET is now looking at increasing the number of reward packages because demand has exceeded initial expectations.
So, what can you actually get? Once your guest’s visit is verified, you could unlock:
- Hotel discounts of up to 45 per cent
- Resort credits worth up to 100 per cent of your room rate
- Deals at attractions including Aquaventure Waterpark and IMG Worlds of Adventure
- Discounts at selected restaurants
- Complimentary Careem Plus membership
- Rebates on Hala Taxi and other Careem services
To qualify, your guests must arrive in Dubai between July 20, 2026, and October 31, 2026. Residents need to register them through the official platform before they travel. Once the visitor enters Dubai and their arrival is verified through the immigration system, the reward package is sent by email within 72 hours.

Each resident can receive up to three reward packages, although they can continue inviting more guests after reaching that limit. Every visitor, however, can only be nominated once.
The programme comes as Dubai continues to break tourism records. The emirate welcomed 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025, a five per cent increase from the previous year. Running alongside Dubai Summer Surprises 2026, the campaign is expected to bring even more visitors to the city while rewarding the residents who help make it happen.
