Barsaat Brand New Day connects Banjaare’s emotional Haryanvi pop with Peter Parker’s story of love, isolation, resilience and hope.

NEW DELHI: Haryanvi pop duo Banjaare has stepped into the Marvel universe through an official promotional collaboration inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The newly reimagined track, Barsaat Brand New Day, links the duo’s emotional storytelling with Peter Parker’s latest journey on the big screen.

Created in association with Sony Pictures Entertainment India and released through Sony Music India, the special edition revisits Banjaare’s original song “Barsaat”. The new version reflects themes of love, loss, loneliness, resilience and hope, emotions that closely match Peter Parker’s circumstances in the latest Spider-Man chapter.

The film follows Peter as he lives alone in a New York City that no longer remembers his identity. He has committed himself to fighting crime full-time, but growing pressure and separation from the people he loves begin to affect him. Sony Pictures describes the story as a new beginning for the character, while Marvel confirms that Tom Holland returns as Spider-Man.

That emotional setting gives Banjaare’s music a natural connection to the superhero’s personal struggle. Rather than focusing only on action, the promotional track highlights the quieter side of Peter Parker’s story, including heartbreak, memory and the determination to continue despite difficult circumstances.

For Banjaare, the collaboration offers an opportunity to introduce Haryanvi-influenced pop to audiences following one of global cinema’s most recognisable characters. The duo is known for combining contemporary melodies with South Asian sounds and emotionally direct lyrics. Its official online presence describes the act as two brothers united by one musical vision, while streaming platforms list “Barsaat” among its latest releases.

The crossover also reflects the widening space available to regional Indian music within international entertainment campaigns. Barsaat Brand New Day retains the identity of the original song while placing it within a cinematic context that can reach listeners beyond its established audience.

Promotional material for the collaboration has circulated across social media, drawing attention to the unexpected meeting of Haryanvi pop and Spider-Man’s world. The campaign presents the song as an emotional companion to the film rather than a conventional action-led superhero anthem.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day opened in cinemas on July 31/ aUGUST 1, 2026, with Destin Daniel Cretton directing and Tom Holland leading the cast.

With Barsaat Brand New Day, Banjaare brings a distinctly South Asian voice to a global film conversation, using familiar emotions to connect regional music with Peter Parker’s universally recognised journey. The track is available across major music-streaming platforms.
