The Lepas L8 Super Hybrid is set to arrive in the UAE, offering a claimed driving range of more than 1,300 kilometres and advanced hybrid technology.

DUBAI: The Lepas L8 Super Hybrid is preparing to enter the UAE market through Al Ghurair Mobility, bringing a long-range plug-in hybrid SUV designed for motorists seeking greater efficiency and fewer fuel stops. The vehicle is expected to offer a combined driving range of more than 1,300 kilometres on a full tank and battery charge.

According to the manufacturer, the hybrid powertrain automatically switches between electric and petrol power to deliver a smooth driving experience while maximising fuel efficiency. The system has been engineered to provide consistent performance across long-distance highway journeys and stop-start urban traffic.

The SUV has also been developed with regional driving conditions in mind, including high summer temperatures and extended motorway travel. Features include available four-wheel drive for improved stability, enhanced acoustic insulation to reduce cabin noise and a focus on passenger comfort during longer journeys.

Lepas says the model is designed to reduce range anxiety by allowing drivers to travel longer distances before refuelling. A claimed range of more than 1,300 kilometres would enable motorists to complete extended intercity journeys or several days of daily commuting without frequent visits to the fuel station.

The UAE will be among the first Middle East markets to receive the model after Lepas dispatched its initial shipment of L8 plug-in hybrid vehicles to the region. The launch forms part of the brand’s wider international expansion as it enters its global Year of Delivery.

The Lepas L8 Super Hybrid will be available in the UAE through Al Ghurair Mobility, the brand’s exclusive distributor in the country. As demand for hybrid vehicles continues to grow, the Lepas L8 Super Hybrid aims to offer motorists a balance of efficiency, long-range capability and everyday practicality.
