Air India Express has announced Navi Mumbai Abu Dhabi flights from 15 July 2026, becoming the first airline to operate international services from the new airport and boosting connectivity between India and the UAE.
MUMBAI: Air India Express has unveiled its new Navi Mumbai Abu Dhabi flights, marking a significant milestone for Maharashtra’s newest aviation hub. The airline will become the first carrier to launch international operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport, offering travellers across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region an additional gateway to the UAE capital.
The new service will commence on 15 July 2026 with two weekly flights operating every Wednesday and Friday. From 29 July 2026, the schedule will be expanded to three weekly services, with flights also operating on Sundays.
According to the airline, flights from Abu Dhabi will depart at 5:45am and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 10:20am local time. Return flights from Navi Mumbai will depart at 2:55am and land in Abu Dhabi at 4:35am.

The introduction of Navi Mumbai Abu Dhabi flights is expected to strengthen travel links between India’s financial capital region and the UAE, one of the most important destinations for business, tourism and family travel. The route also provides passengers with greater flexibility by offering a second airport option within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
With this addition, Air India Express will operate 30 weekly flights from Navi Mumbai International Airport, directly connecting the new facility with Abu Dhabi, Bengaluru and Delhi. The expansion forms part of the airline’s wider growth strategy across Maharashtra, where it currently operates more than 95 weekly flights from Mumbai, over 100 weekly flights from Pune and 14 weekly flights from Nagpur.
Air India Express also maintains one of the largest India-West Asia networks, linking several Indian cities with destinations across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Bookings for the Navi Mumbai Abu Dhabi flights are now open through the airline’s website, mobile application and authorised travel booking platforms. The launch is expected to support growing passenger demand while enhancing regional and international connectivity from western India.
