Dubai Fashion Week continues on Friday at Dubai Design District, with Spring/Summer 2027 collections, regional and international designers, buyers and industry figures gathering during the five-day programme running through 26 October.

DUBAI: Dubai Fashion Week 2026 moved into full swing on Friday, October 23, bringing international designers, fashion buyers and industry leaders to Dubai Design District (d3).

The five-day event, running from October 22 to 26, showcases Spring/Summer 2027 collections featuring emerging talent and established fashion houses.

Organised by Dubai Design District and the Arab Fashion Council, the event strengthens Dubai’s position as an international fashion and creative business hub.

Global Designers Take Centre Stage

The programme features designers from India, France, Colombia, South Korea, Vietnam, Kuwait, Azerbaijan and several other markets.

Prominent participants include Kuwaiti designer Yousef Aljasmi, Indian couturier Tarun Tahiliani and French fashion label Weinsanto.

Friday’s schedule includes runway presentations by NIF Global, Ukrainian fashion house KEL’, Colombian designer Monica Schuster and emerging designers from FAD Dubai.

The collections highlight contemporary fashion, eveningwear, craftsmanship and new design approaches.

Fashion Buyers and Retailers Gather

Beyond runway presentations, Dubai Fashion Week offers networking sessions, showroom appointments and industry discussions.

Its Buyers Programme connects designers with international retailers and potential commercial partners.

These meetings allow brands to present collections, explore distribution opportunities and establish new business relationships.

The event also promotes regional talent alongside designers entering international markets.

Several presentations remain invitation-only, while showroom access requires advance appointments.

Impact to Expect

Dubai Fashion Week could generate new opportunities for designers, retailers and luxury fashion businesses.

The event also supports Dubai’s growing creative economy by connecting regional brands with international markets.

Organisers expect the programme to strengthen commercial partnerships and increase global exposure for emerging designers.

The event concludes on Monday, October 26, with Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani scheduled to present the closing runway show.
