The Gamechangers Middle East has received 1,500 founder applications, highlighting strong regional interest in the startup investment platform ahead of the 5 July deadline.
DUBAI: The Gamechangers Middle East startup investment series has attracted 1,500 founder applications ahead of its closing date, underlining the growing entrepreneurial momentum across the UAE, the wider Middle East, India, Singapore and other international markets.
Created as more than a television programme, Gamechangers Middle East combines investment, mentorship and business networking to help promising startups gain visibility, strategic guidance and access to potential funding. The initiative aims to provide founders with opportunities to connect directly with experienced investors and industry leaders while showcasing their businesses to a wider audience.
The platform is co-created and headlined by Indian actor, filmmaker and entrepreneur R. Madhavan, who also serves as host, mentor and strategic partner. He said every successful company begins with belief in an idea and the courage to pursue it, adding that the UAE has become one of the world’s most exciting destinations for innovation. He said the series is designed to discover ambitious founders, support transformative ideas and inspire entrepreneurs to build lasting businesses.
Producer Vipul D. Shah said the strong response demonstrates the scale of entrepreneurial ambition across the region. He added that founders increasingly need platforms that provide genuine access to investors, mentorship, visibility and growth opportunities rather than simple recognition.
Applications remain open until 5 July 2026, after which 70 selected startups will advance to pitch before an expert panel of investors and business leaders in a televised competition. Successful founders will compete for investment opportunities and strategic support to accelerate their businesses.
Gamechangers Middle East is scheduled to premiere on Colors TV Middle East in late 2026, with simultaneous streaming across major digital platforms throughout the MENA region. Organisers expect total applications to exceed 2,000 before the selection process concludes.
