Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is representing the UAE at the G20 summit in Johannesburg, spotlighting global growth, energy transition and sustainability.

JOHANNESBURG: His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, to attend the G20 summit on behalf of the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The UAE was invited to the 2025 G20 summit by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, with this year’s summit marking a historic first as it takes place on African soil. The summit focuses on critical global themes such as inclusive economic growth, a just energy transition, and accelerated action towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sheikh Khaled is joined by a high-level UAE delegation, which includes:

  • Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation
  • Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment
  • Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State
