Big Ticket’s second December e-draw awarded AED 100,000 each to five winners from the UAE and India, with more draws to come.

ABU DHABI: Big Ticket’s second weekly e-draw for December brought early celebrations to five lucky winners from the UAE and India, each claiming AED 100,000. The total prize money distributed in this round reached AED 500,000, adding to the growing excitement in the lead-up to the New Year’s mega draw.

Among the winners was Emirati national Ali Alkaabi from Abu Dhabi, who expressed his surprise and joy after receiving the winning call. Indian expat Ritesh Dhanak, a 52-year-old computer teacher who has lived in Dubai for three decades, also won after 15 years of consistent ticket purchases. He credited a promotional “buy 2, get 3” offer for his winning entry and plans to use his share for a family trip and his daughter’s graduation.

Ajay Kumar, a finance analyst from Kerala, has lived in Dubai for 17 years and shared his prize with nine friends. Shakil Ahmad Nazrul Haque, a civil engineer from Bihar living in Fujairah, said the money would go towards building a house in India. The fifth winner, Sreejith Sreedharan, residing in Bahrain, is still considering how to use his prize.

The Big Ticket e-draws continue every week through December. Three more draws are scheduled for the rest of the month, with AED 500,000 to be distributed weekly among five winners until the year ends.

January 3rd, 2026 marks the much-anticipated grand draw, where one participant will take home a record AED 30 million, the largest cash prize of the year. In addition to the grand prize, five more winners will receive AED 50,000 each. The night will also feature The Big Win Contest, where four pre-selected participants will each win between AED 50,000 and AED 150,000.

For vehicle enthusiasts, the Dream Car Series returns with a BMW 430i up for grabs on 3 January, followed by a BMW X5 on 3 February 2026.
