Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship 2024 Prepared for a Spectacular Comeback

Dubai: The organizing committee of the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship has revealed the date for the 2024 edition. Set under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, the prestigious event is scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 22nd to 24th.

The announcement unfolded during a judges’ selection draw held at DWTC, attended by key figures such as Mr. Qusai Obaidalla, DIAHC Director & Board Member, and Mr. Khalid Alhammadi, SVP DXB Live DWTC. Celebrating its twenty-first edition, the championship stands as one of the world’s most esteemed horse competitions, attracting prominent owners and elite stables. With a total prize purse of US$4 million in 2024, it continues to be a highlight in the equestrian world.

The Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the championship’s events in Zabeel Halls 4, 5, and 6 over three days, welcoming the public free of charge. Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, this year’s edition will carry a distinct aura of heritage and tradition, offering a delightful experience for horse enthusiasts, sports lovers, and families.

Highlighting the beauty of Arabian horses, the championship showcases the result of centuries of careful breeding and expert equestrian stewardship. The draw for the show’s 10 judges, including two reserves, featured highly experienced individuals from various countries. Registration for horse owners and stables to enroll their horses in the championship is set to open later this month, promising another memorable edition of this globally acclaimed event.
