Indian passport fees UAE will increase from July 1, 2026, with revised charges applying across the Indian missions in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as all Indian Consular Application Centres.

DUBAI: The Government of India has announced revised Indian passport fees for passport and related consular services, with the new charges taking effect from July 1, 2026. The updated fee structure will apply uniformly at the Consulate General of India in Dubai, the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi, and all Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) operated by the authorised outsourced service provider across the UAE.

Under the revised schedule, adults applying for a fresh or reissued 36-page passport will pay AED 450 under the normal service, while the Tatkal fee has been revised to AED 900. A 60-page passport will cost AED 630 under the normal category and AED 1,080 under the Tatkal scheme. Fees for replacing lost or damaged passports have also increased, with a 36-page passport costing AED 900 under the normal service and AED 1,350 under Tatkal. A 60-page replacement passport will now cost AED 1,080 normally or AED 1,530 through Tatkal processing.

For minors below 18 years, a fresh or reissued 36-page passport will cost AED 325, while the Tatkal fee has been revised to AED 775. Children up to eight years of age applying for a fresh passport will continue to receive a 10 per cent discount, bringing the normal fee down to AED 295, although the concession will not apply to passport reissues.

The notification also revises charges for special travel documents and miscellaneous services. An Emergency Certificate will cost AED 60, while a Certificate of Identity will be issued for AED 180. Police Clearance Certificates, Surrender Certificates, Global Entry Programme verification and other miscellaneous passport-related certificates will cost AED 145. Applicable service charges of the outsourced service provider and Indian Community Welfare Fund contributions will continue to be levied separately wherever applicable. The Indian passport fees UAE revision aims to standardise passport-related services across all Indian missions in the Emirates. Indian passport fees UAE come into force on July 1, 2026.
