If you’re a music or dance lover or both then the Expo 2020 Dubai is the place to be this December

DUBAI: With some of India’s top DJs set to spin the decks at Jubilee Stage in December, music lovers can get ready to enjoy the power of positive music. Because, at Expo 2020, every day is the weekend.

On December 19 Progressive Brothers will bring good vibes for dance music devotees to Expo 2020 Dubai’s Jubilee Park. The electric dance music duo, comprising Sunny Sharma and Karan Bhalla, are pioneers of the EDM scene in India, have previously shared stages with the likes of DJ Snake, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Tiësto, Martin Garrix. They have also collaborated with brands such as Adidas Originals, and performed at festivals across the world, including Sunburn Festival in Goa and Electric Daisy Carnival, the largest electronic dance music festival in North America.

The duo’s first pop hit, ‘Flipside’, became an instant hit and racked up more than 1.5 million views online, while they have released more than 100 mash-ups that have been played by hundreds of DJs across the globe. The audience at Jubilee Park can look forward to raising their hands in the air to the Brothers’ groove-centric set, including the festival anthem ‘India, India’.

Indian DJ, music producer, radio host, VJ, music career coach, and label owner at Play Life records, DJ NYK will also be turning up the volume with his Bollywood remixes and mashups on December 24.

New Delhi-born NYK, who has garnered a huge local following thanks to his live sets in locations like Lake Pichola and Kerala backwaters, has also headlined across the globe with multiple tours across the Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. His official remix of the 2018 chartbuster Kya Baat Ay by Harrdy racked up more than 1 million streams on the digital streaming platform Saavn. Describing his performance at Expo 2020 Dubai as a “unique opportunity to perform at the biggest stage on the planet on Christmas Eve,” NYK enthused that “it doesn’t get better than this.”

Nucleya takes over the reins on Jubilee Stage on December 27. With a string of awards under his belt including the 2017 MTV Europe Music Award for Best Indian Act, the Indian electronic music producer has also appeared as a judge in MTV Hustle. His set of trap, bass, reverse bass, electronic, fusion, and electronic dance music will deliver the beats to the expectant Jubilee Crowd.

Progressive Brothers perform on 19 December, DJ NYK on December 24, and Nucleya on December 27. All events take place at Jubilee Stage.
