Sharjah early learning model earns praise from Sheikha Jawaher for prioritising childhood development, creativity, and healthy environments.

SHARJAH: H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi has affirmed that the Sharjah early learning model offers a leading vision for child development, education, and wellbeing. Speaking during the inauguration of the Amiri Guard Nursery expansion in Al Badee, she emphasised the emirate’s commitment to raising future generations rooted in knowledge, values, and innovation.

The model, inspired by the vision of H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, places children at the centre of Sharjah’s development plans. The emirate continues to integrate education, health, and emotional wellbeing into early learning systems designed to support mental and physical growth.

During the tour of the expanded nursery, H.H. Sheikha Jawaher visited interactive classrooms that use a “Play and Exploration” approach. This fosters critical cognitive and social development while instilling practical life skills. The visit included a stop at the sand play area, which helps develop children’s motor abilities and encourages imaginative thinking in a safe, open setting.

She also viewed the nursery’s multi-purpose hall, where healthy meal programmes reflect the initiative’s focus on promoting nutritious lifestyles. H.H. Sheikha Jawaher met with staff and applauded their efforts in implementing Sharjah’s forward-thinking education approach.

The tour concluded at the Creativity Zone, a dynamic space that encourages role-playing and imaginative learning. A final stop at the outdoor garden and interactive animal area highlighted Sharjah’s belief in nature-based education and real-world learning experiences.

The Sharjah early learning model showcases how educational spaces can be tailored to nurture creativity, emotional intelligence, and strong foundations for lifelong learning. Sheikha Jawaher noted that such efforts help children become active contributors to a thriving, sustainable society.
