Sony WH-1000XM4C headphones are coming to the UAE alongside the new WH-CH730N and WH-CH530, expanding Sony’s wireless range with options spanning premium noise cancellation to colourful everyday listening.
DUBAI: Sony WH-1000XM4C headphones are set to arrive in the UAE this September as Sony refreshes its wireless audio line-up with three models aimed at different budgets and listening needs.
Leading the range is the WH-1000XM4C, based on Sony’s popular WH-1000XM4. The new model retains the 1000X Series noise-cancelling technology and premium sound experience while introducing updated sound tuning designed around current listening trends.
Users also get personalised sound settings through a 10-band equaliser. The headphones retain a lightweight, foldable over-ear design aimed at travellers, commuters, students, remote workers and music listeners.
A notable visual update is the addition of Lavender alongside Black and Platinum Silver, giving buyers three colour options.
Sony is also updating its mid-range offering with the WH-CH730N. The noise-cancelling headphones feature a lightweight foldable design, Dual Noise Sensor technology and up to 50 hours of battery life with noise cancellation switched on.
A three-minute quick charge can provide one hour of playback, according to Sony. Call quality has also been upgraded with Precise Voice Pickup Technology and AI-powered noise reduction. Multipoint connectivity, Fast Pair, Swift Pair and LE Audio are included.
At the more accessible end of the range, Sony’s WH-CH530 targets everyday listening with up to 55 hours of battery life and six colours: Black, Cobalt, White, Pink, Coral and Mint.
The WH-CH530 also features customisable equaliser settings, AI noise reduction for calls and a five-step maximum volume control designed to help users manage listening levels.
“The release of the WH-1000XM4C reflects continued consumer interest in a headphone model recognised globally for its combination of noise cancelling performance, sound quality and comfort,” said Fumihiro Zaima, General Manager from SEA Marketing Department, APMEA Division, Sony Corporation.
All three models are scheduled to become available in selected UAE markets from September 2026, although Sony has not provided pricing in the supplied announcement.
With Sony WH-1000XM4C headphones leading the refresh, the company is positioning its latest range across premium, mid-range and entry-level segments rather than concentrating on a single type of wireless listener.
Impact to expect
The expanded range gives UAE consumers more choice across price and feature levels, particularly those looking for longer battery life, noise cancellation and headphones designed for work, travel and everyday entertainment.
