The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix returns to Yas Marina Circuit from December 3 to 6, bringing the 2026 Formula 1 season to a close.
ABU DHABI: Formula 1 fans can mark their calendars. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will return to Yas Marina Circuit from December 3 to 6, 2026, once again bringing the Formula 1 World Championship season to an end in the UAE capital.
Preparations are already moving ahead for the four-day race weekend, which will bring drivers, teams and thousands of fans to Yas Island. As well as the action on the track, visitors can expect concerts, entertainment and hospitality experiences throughout the weekend.
Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, said preparations for the season finale are progressing according to plan. He also confirmed Formula 1’s commitment to the scheduled calendar and said Abu Dhabi is preparing for the final race in an exceptional atmosphere.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has been part of the Formula 1 calendar since 2009 and has become one of the city’s biggest annual sporting events. Its position as the season finale also gives fans the chance to watch the final action of the championship before the year comes to an end.
Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Under-Secretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, said hosting Formula 1 since 2009 reflects Abu Dhabi’s position as a destination capable of attracting major international sporting events.
The race weekend is also about much more than Formula 1. Fans travelling to Abu Dhabi usually combine the racing with hotels, restaurants, attractions, concerts and other activities around Yas Island. This gives the event an important role in supporting the city’s tourism, hospitality and entertainment sectors.
Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara, said preparations are going well, with organisers working alongside Formula 1 and partners across Abu Dhabi to create a strong experience for fans, teams and drivers.
For visitors, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix offers several days of entertainment rather than just one race. Yas Marina Circuit provides the main action, while the wider programme across Yas Island turns the weekend into one of Abu Dhabi’s busiest sporting and entertainment occasions of the year.
With the dates now confirmed, fans planning to travel for the season finale can start preparing early. From December 3 to 6, Abu Dhabi will once again become the final stop of the Formula 1 season, bringing together racing, concerts, entertainment and tourism in one weekend.
