Beijing: China’s telecommunications industry closed 2025 with a robust performance, according to official data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

By the end of the year, China had built 4.838 million 5G base stations, translating to 34.4 stations per 10,000 people, exceeding the country’s national planning target by 8.4 units.
