ABU DHABI: The Abrahamic Family House celebrated its second anniversary with a landmark Dialogue Summit, bringing together diplomats, cultural leaders, and policymakers to discuss the power of dialogue, understanding, and peaceful coexistence.

Titled “In Dialogue – Voices of Tomorrow, Stories of Now”, the summit featured key discussions on diplomacy, creativity, and interfaith cooperation, with over 150 guests in attendance.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, President of the Abrahamic Family House, highlighted the importance of dialogue in today’s increasingly polarised world. He noted that fostering understanding across communities is essential for building trust and achieving meaningful change.

Keynote speaker Imam Adam Kelwick shared insights from his efforts to ease tensions during the UK riots of August 2024. Meanwhile, a panel featuring Nikolay Mladenov (Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy) and Dr. Mariët Westermann (Guggenheim Foundation) explored how diplomacy and empathy can drive cooperation.

Cultural discussions included Manuel Rabaté (Louvre Abu Dhabi), Bill Bragin (NYU Abu Dhabi), and Alia Zaal Lootah, who spoke about the role of artistic exchange in inspiring creativity. Other speakers, including composer Ihab Darwish and photographer Hussain Al Mossawi, showcased how the arts and storytelling can embody the values of dialogue and coexistence.

The event also featured an exhibition of commissioned artworks by Emirati artists, curated by Lateefa bin Hamoodah, celebrating the theme of interfaith harmony.

Alongside the summit, the Abrahamic Family House signed a partnership with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, launching a fellowship program to support research in interfaith studies, diplomacy, and cultural exchange.

Since opening in 2023, the centre has welcomed 600,000 worshippers and visitors, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s role in promoting global tolerance and human fraternity.
