AI app Noscroll helps users avoid endless scrolling by browsing websites and social media, sending only relevant updates directly via text messages.

NEW YORK: AI app Noscroll is gaining attention for offering a new way to consume online content without endless scrolling, as developers introduce an artificial intelligence agent that browses the internet on behalf of users.

Created by startup Noscroll, the application is designed to tackle “doomscrolling” by scanning websites and social media platforms based on individual user interests. Instead of spending hours navigating feeds, users receive curated updates through text messages, highlighting content deemed relevant or worth viewing.

The concept behind AI app Noscroll is straightforward. It acts as a digital assistant that reads the web for users, filtering out unnecessary information and delivering only key highlights. This approach aims to improve productivity and reduce screen fatigue, especially among users overwhelmed by constant content consumption.

Founder Nadav Hollander, former Chief Technology Officer at OpenSea, said the idea emerged from his own experience with social media platforms. After leaving his role, he found himself spending significant time on X, describing it as both highly engaging and informative. However, he wanted a way to stay updated without being constantly online.

The application works by connecting to a user’s social media account, allowing it to analyse preferences such as likes, bookmarks and followed accounts. Users can also interact with the AI using natural language, specifying topics they wish to follow or avoid. Based on this input, the system generates a personalised content digest.

Powered by multiple AI models and proprietary infrastructure, the tool has been customised to deliver information in a distinct and user-friendly format. AI app Noscroll reflects a growing trend of personalised automation tools aimed at simplifying digital experiences while maintaining access to important information.
