ABU DHABI: UAE residents can expect a change in temperatures, stronger winds and dusty conditions, although the summer heat will remain intense in many areas. The UAE weather forecast shows temperatures easing slightly, particularly near the coast, while winds could reach speeds of up to 40km/h and stir up dust.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), conditions will be fair to partly cloudy, with clouds expected to develop over eastern parts of the country during the afternoon. Winds will generally remain light to moderate but could become stronger at times. The dusty conditions may reduce visibility in some areas, so motorists should take extra care, especially when driving on open roads.

Despite the slight drop in temperatures, it will remain very hot. Inland areas could see temperatures ranging between 44°C and 48°C, while coastal areas and islands are expected to record highs between 40°C and 45°C. The changing conditions come after a mixed spell of summer weather across the Emirates, including rain and hail in some mountainous areas.
The NCM said the changing UAE weather is linked to a weak surface low-pressure system extending from the east, along with a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. These conditions are expected to bring more cloud cover to eastern areas and could continue to create periods of stronger winds and blowing dust.
Temperatures are expected to rise again on Thursday, particularly along coastal areas. Humidity will also increase overnight in some coastal locations, making conditions feel warmer despite the drop in daytime temperatures. Similar conditions are forecast for Friday as the country continues through the peak summer period.

By Saturday, humidity could increase further across some coastal areas. This may lead to fog or mist forming during the night and into Sunday morning. Early-morning drivers should therefore watch for sudden changes in visibility and check official weather updates before travelling.
