ABU DHABI: UAE President Saudi Crown Prince call took place on Saturday as His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss recent regional developments.
During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed the latest escalation, including what they described as blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and a number of other countries. The Saudi Crown Prince expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of the attacks and affirmed full solidarity with the UAE. He underscored Saudi Arabia’s readiness to provide all possible support in response to any measures taken by the UAE.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed conveyed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s firm stance and fraternal solidarity. He thanked Saudi Arabia for its continued support during the current security situation, highlighting the close and strategic ties between the two nations.
Both leaders warned of the serious consequences of continued violations of state sovereignty and international law, stressing that such acts represent a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and undermines broader stability. They emphasised the importance of safeguarding the security of nations and protecting civilian lives and infrastructure.
