DUBAI: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the inaugural UAE-Kuwait Week will be held in Dubai from February 3-4, 2025, spotlighting strategic partnerships and economic cooperation.
Organised by the UAE Ministry of Economy and Dubai Chambers in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Consulate General and Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, this event seeks to explore joint opportunities in sectors like energy, logistics, healthcare, and financial services.

With non-oil trade between the two nations reaching US$12.4 billion (AED 45.4 billion) in 2023, this figure is expected to surpass US$13 billion in 2024. Notably, Kuwait ranks as the UAE’s 12th most significant trading partner, contributing to regional economic diversification.
Key highlights of the event include:
• Business-to-business meetings to strengthen partnerships between private and government sectors.
• Panel discussions on investment potential in renewable energy, healthcare, and logistics.
• Exhibitions showcasing SMEs, government projects, and cultural heritage through traditional performances and artisan displays.
Abdulazis Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, emphasised the importance of the private sector in deepening UAE-Kuwait ties, adding, “Dubai offers a pro-business environment and serves as a gateway to global markets for Kuwaiti businesses.”
Tourism has also flourished, with 381,000 Kuwaiti tourists visiting the UAE in 2023, a 52% increase from 2022, further supported by 122 weekly flights between the two nations.
