Big Ticket’s F1 weekend in Abu Dhabi awarded over AED 560,000 across two days, giving 30 lucky winners a VIP yacht experience and major cash prizes.
ABU DHABI: In a landmark celebration during the Formula 1 weekend, Big Ticket Abu Dhabi rolled out its first-ever experience-based promotion — combining luxury, sport, and surprise wins. Over two days, 30 winners from countries including the UAE, Bangladesh, India, Norway, Pakistan, and the US shared more than AED 560,000 in cash prizes, while enjoying an unforgettable luxury yacht and race-day experience.
The unique activation saw Big Ticket evolve beyond its traditional raffle format, offering winners access to a high-end F1 getaway, complete with front-row views from a private yacht. The highlight of Day 1 was restaurant owner Kabir Sarkar from Bangladesh winning AED 250,000 — his first Big Ticket win, secured with a group of 19 friends. “This is not just my win, it’s a Bangladesh win,” Kabir said, expressing plans to expand his business.
Day 2 brought another surprise win for Bangladeshi carpenter Muhammad Mohin Uddin, who also took home AED 250,000. Participating for the first time, he joined with 72 others in a group ticket. Overjoyed by his win and the experience, Muhammad said he never imagined being part of such an event and plans to continue playing with his group.
Additional cash prizes were awarded throughout the weekend. Amit Tiwari from India, a long-time participant, won AED 20,000 and plans to gift the prize to his daughter who selected the winning ticket. First-time winner Mohammed Robiul, who bought tickets with 12 friends, also secured AED 20,000 on Day 2.
Perhaps the most surprising twist was Saritha Battepati’s double win — AED 10,000 on both days. Overwhelmed by her luck, she plans to split the prize with her friend and save towards her son’s education.
“This weekend allowed us to connect with our customers in a way we’ve never done before,” said Bogdan Lefter, Head of Marketing at Big Ticket Abu Dhabi. “Seeing our winners experience the thrill of F1 and celebrate together was truly special.”
As the F1 celebrations wrap up, Big Ticket’s momentum continues into December with a grand prize of AED 30 million, five consolation prizes of AED 50,000, and weekly e-draws offering AED 100,000 each. The Big Win Contest promises additional rewards, while the Dream Car Series is offering a BMW 430i and BMW X5.
