DUBAI: Renowned three-time world champion slackliner, Jaan Roose, has pulled off a breathtaking highline walk, marking another world-first achievement. The feat saw Roose traverse the 100-metre line suspended between the iconic Jumeirah Emirates Towers, 224 metres above the ground.
This daring act was part of the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, a global gathering celebrating the content creator economy. Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the event will run from January 11 to 13, 2025, across prominent Dubai venues, including Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre, and the Museum of the Future, under the theme ‘Content for Good.’
The summit attracts over 15,000 content creators worldwide, offering a platform for innovation, creativity, and community-building. Roose’s awe-inspiring performance set the tone for this vibrant event, highlighting Dubai’s reputation as a hub for global talent and extraordinary achievements.
