CBSE Middle East exams have been postponed for Class X and XII students in several Gulf countries due to the current situation.

NEW DELHI: CBSE Middle East exams scheduled for Monday, 2 March 2026, have been postponed for both Class X and Class XII students, according to an official circular issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education on 1 March.

The notification applies to CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The Board stated that the decision was taken due to the current situation in parts of the Middle East, affecting the safety and logistics of conducting examinations.

Under the order, all examinations scheduled for 2 March 2026 stand postponed. Revised dates will be announced later.

The CBSE Middle East exams decision was communicated to school principals across the affected countries. Students have been advised to remain in contact with their respective schools for further updates and to follow official announcements carefully.

The postponement of CBSE Middle East exams comes amid heightened regional tensions that have prompted precautionary measures in several sectors. Authorities have emphasised that student safety remains the top priority while the situation is being closely monitored.
