Air India confirmed 58 flights to West Asia on 12 March, including scheduled and charter services, as airlines expand Air India West Asia flights.
GURUGRAM: The Air India group has announced plans to operate a total of 58 flights to and from West Asia on 12 March 2026, combining scheduled services and additional charter operations as demand remains strong across the region.
According to the airline, Air India West Asia flights will include both Air India and Air India Express services connecting major cities in India with destinations across the Gulf. The operations include flights to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
Both airlines will also operate one non-scheduled round-trip flight each to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Air India will operate its service from Mumbai, while Air India Express will operate a flight from Kozhikode.
In addition to these services, regular operations will continue between India and Jeddah and Muscat. A total of 10 flights will operate to and from Jeddah, including one round-trip each from Bengaluru and Kozhikode operated by Air India Express, and one round-trip from Delhi plus two round-trips from Mumbai operated by Air India.

Air India Express will also operate eight scheduled services to and from Muscat, including one round-trip each from Delhi and Mumbai and two round-trips from Kozhikode.
Beyond scheduled services, the airline group will run around 40 additional non-scheduled flights to destinations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, subject to slot availability and operational conditions. These additional operations form part of the broader Air India West Asia flights plan aimed at maintaining connectivity during the current operational adjustments.
The non-scheduled flights will connect several UAE airports including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah with Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi and Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Air India confirmed that flights to North America, Europe, Australia and other international destinations continue to operate normally. The airline is also operating 78 additional services to destinations including Europe, the United States, Sri Lanka and the Maldives between 10 and 18 March.
