Dubai: On Sunday, July 30, a wax replica of the late Benazir Bhutto, the former prime minister of Pakistan, will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Dubai.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Benazir’s son and Pakistan’s foreign minister, will attend the unveiling ceremony along with other dignitaries and diplomats.

It’s Madame Tussauds’ first wax representation of a Pakistani figure. The late Benazir served as chair of the Pakistan Peoples Party and was a two-time former prime minister. At the age of 54, she was murdered in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007 during an election campaign.

According to the Pakistan Foreign Office, Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal will hold a meeting with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Foreign Minister, on his official visit to the UAE on July 30.

They will address the entire extent of bilateral ties between the two friendly nations. The Foreign Minister will also offer condolences to the UAE leadership on the passing of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed, brother of His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

According to a statement from the Pakistan Foreign Office, the Foreign Minister’s visit is a reflection of Pakistan’s active engagement with the UAE and the two countries’ beneficial cooperation. Both nations are devoted to progressively enhancing bilateral relations and expanding their mutually beneficial economic collaboration.
