A.R. Rahman and Burjeel Holdings to launch UAE-inspired song ‘Jamal Al Etihad’ at Sheikh Zayed Festival on November 29.

ABU DHABI: Music legend A.R. Rahman, in collaboration with Burjeel Holdings, is set to unveil a new musical tribute titled Jamal Al Etihad at the Sheikh Zayed Festival on November 29, 2025. Designed as a celebration of UAE values, the song is a deeply cultural project highlighting Jamal Al Etihad as a symbol of unity, coexistence, resilience, and hope.

Composed by A.R. Rahman and conceptualised by Burjeel Holdings, a major healthcare group in the MENA region, the song will premiere live at 9:30 PM during the festival at the Layali Al Wathba Theatre. The debut performance will be accompanied by musical acts and traditional dance presentations, promising a dynamic cultural experience for attendees.

This exclusive performance by Rahman and his team places Jamal Al Etihad at the heart of one of the UAE’s most iconic cultural events. With a focus on shared humanity and local heritage, the event aligns with the country’s upcoming 54th National Day celebrations. A dazzling three-minute fireworks display is also scheduled for 10:00 PM to enhance the experience.

The Sheikh Zayed Festival is recognised for celebrating the country’s traditions and community spirit. By launching this song in such a setting, the message of unity is expected to resonate with a diverse audience. The concert is free to all festival ticket holders, with gates opening at 7:00 PM and general entry priced at AED 10.

Omran Al Khoori, Board Member at Burjeel Holdings, said: “Jamal Al Etihad is a tribute shaped by the UAE’s values and its spirit of unity. The Sheikh Zayed Festival offers the right stage for sharing this with the public at a time when the nation reflects on its progress and its sense of togetherness.”

The song will also be released digitally following the event through A.R. Rahman’s official channels.
