DUBAI: According to forecast, UAE temperatures are expected to climb as high as 47°C in some inland areas on Thursday, September 10, as the country experiences another hot day alongside rising humidity and strengthening winds. Residents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi can expect highs around 43°C, while Liwa is forecast to be among the hottest locations.
The National Centre of Meteorology expects generally fair to partly cloudy conditions across the Emirates. Coastal areas and islands are forecast to record maximum temperatures between 39°C and 44°C, while inland areas could range from 43°C to 47°C.
Mountain areas will be considerably cooler, with maximum temperatures between 30°C and 36°C.

Liwa is forecast to reach 47°C, while Ras Al Khaimah could hit 45°C. Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain are forecast to reach around 43°C.
Fujairah should see relatively cooler conditions at around 37°C.
The heat follows a maximum temperature of 46.9°C recorded at Bada Dafas in the Al Dhafrah Region on Wednesday afternoon.
UAE temperatures will remain accompanied by changing wind conditions. Light to moderate southeasterly winds are expected to shift northwesterly, with speeds generally between 10 and 25 km/h and gusts reaching around 35 km/h at times.
Despite the stronger winds, conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain slight.
