DUBAI: The latest #DubaiDestinations summer campaign ends with huge social media buzz after two vibrant months, showcasing Dubai’s summer offerings. Directed by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and managed by Brand Dubai, the campaign highlighted Dubai’s attractions across all seasons.

Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, praised the campaign for its impressive global and local engagement. The summer phase saw more than 20 million video views and over 3,000 pieces of content shared on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and X. This phase focused on Dubai’s beaches, waterparks, indoor activities, and hotel pools, featuring content from top creatives like influencers and photographers.

The campaign included interactive bilingual guides to help people explore Dubai’s attractions and unique summer experiences. #DubaiDestinations campaign social media also promoted homegrown businesses through the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network, highlighting local summer essentials.

Dubai’s popularity as a tourist destination continues to rise, with 9.31 million international visitors in the first half of 2024, a 9% increase from the previous year. The city was named the top global destination for the third year running by Tripadvisor and was also recognized as the leading Middle Eastern destination by the World Travel Awards.
