Raising awareness about waste generation through puppets

DUBAI: A series of fun and creative puppet-making workshops, using recycled materials to raise awareness about the global challenge of waste generation and its direct environmental impact, are being hosted at the Spain Pavilion, Expo 2020 Dubai until December 27.

Decorated with weird and wonderful puppets made from a variety of materials to spark creative ideas, the workshop space is furnished with sustainable child-friendly pieces, such as chunky cardboard boxes for seats, and offer one-hour-long workshops that take place up to four times per day.

Following the puppet-making workshops, the Spain Pavilion will present a festive shadow puppet show, Three Wise Men, three times daily from December 28 to December 30.
