The Make-A-Wish Foundation recently announced that from January to September this year, it has granted travel wishes to 26 children. This initiative is part of its humanitarian strategy aimed at bringing joy to sick children and their families, enhancing hope and happiness in their lives.

Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, highlighted the profound impact these wishes have on children facing serious health challenges. He explained, “For children who struggle with chronic illnesses, the chance to see the world and explore new cultures—along with fulfilling spiritual wishes for Hajj and Umrah—offers a life-changing experience. It provides them with the strength, hope, and emotional resilience needed to continue their fight. We are dedicated to fulfilling these wishes because we understand the difference it makes.”

The travel wishes granted varied widely. They included three wishes for performing Umrah, one for Hajj, and eight for visits to Disneyland in Paris. Five children were granted wishes to visit Disneyland in Orlando, while one child each wished to travel to Disneyland in Tokyo, Paris, London, Switzerland, Thailand, Egypt, Dallas in America, Aqaba in Jordan, and Mauritius.

Al-Zubaidi expressed gratitude towards the foundation’s partners, donors, and supporters, stating, “Their unwavering support and generosity have enabled us to bring smiles to these children’s faces, fulfilling their dreams of seeing the world and creating lasting memories.”
