Kuwait minister proposes 10% of Arab Fund profits directed to Palestine
Fri 24 May 2024Kuwait proposes that 10 percent of the profits from the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development would be allocated to the support of Palestine, as announced by Dr Anwar Al-Mudhaf, Kuwait’s Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs.
Discussions with agencies on the sideline of the Joint Annual Meetings of Arab Financial Institutions 2024, Dr. Anwar Al-Mudhaf, Kuwait Minister of Finance, and Minister of State for Economic and Investment Affairs, indicated that the proposal was approved by the attendees.
The meeting also deliberated on several issues, including a paper from the 15th annual gathering of Arab Finance Ministers, which addressed the challenges and risks confronting financial policies in the Arab region in general and Kuwait in particular.
Minister Al-Mudhaf is leading the Kuwaiti delegation to the meeting, which also includes executives and members from the Kuwait Arab Fund for Economic Development (KFAED).
