Dubai: The recent unprecedented floods in the UAE left numerous residents grappling with the loss and damage to their belongings, including their car number plates.

Recognising the urgency of the situation, Amber Communications, a full-services advertising agency in Dubai Media City, unveiled a remarkable initiative to aid the community in recovering these lost number plates. The newly launched website, aptly called WhereIsMyPlate.AE is a dedicated platform aimed at reuniting residents with their lost car number plates.

“We understand the significance of a vehicle’s number plate and the inconvenience caused by its loss. Hence, we felt compelled to take immediate action and leverage our expertise to provide a solution that would ease some of the burdens faced by those affected by the floods,” said Shynil Hashim, Brand Services Director at Amber Communications.

WhereIsMyPlate.ae, developed overnight, offers a user-friendly interface where individuals can input relevant details about their lost number plates. Leveraging the power of technology, the platform facilitates the search and retrieval process, enabling residents to swiftly locate their missing number plates with ease.
