The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix to go off air amid declining TRP

Mumbai: Netflix just wrapped up Season 1 of The Great Indian Kapil Show due to a drop in viewership ratings. The show, starring the popular comedian Kapil Sharma, was a hit with audiences initially when it launched on March 30, but as time went on, it lost some steam. Despite the decline, fans still loved Kapil’s humor and the show’s celebrity interviews. While there’s no clear reason for the drop in ratings, it could be because of competition from other shows, changing viewer preferences, or just too much similar content out there.

The Great Indian Kapil Show aired for a month and saw some of the biggest names grace the stage including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vicky Kaushal, Parineeti Chopra, among others. However, the makers have decided to discontinue the show as the ratings were miserably low.

But even though Season 1 is over, fans can still catch up on past episodes on Netflix. And who knows? Maybe there’ll be news about a Season 2 or some spin-off projects in the future. For now, Netflix has plenty of other cool stuff to watch, from comedy specials to blockbuster movies. So, even though The Great Indian Kapil Show has wrapped for now, there’s still lots to enjoy on Netflix.
