EMAAR and Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024 collaborate to create diverse ecosystem

Sharjah: EMAAR is partnering with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) to boost technological innovation and entrepreneurship. The festival, organized by Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa), will take place from February 3-4, 2024.

EMAAR’s diverse collaboration involves sponsoring the ‘Startup Town,’ a key zone within SEF featuring the ‘Founder Stage’ with talks from global experts. EMAAR will also sponsor the Tech Track for SEF Pitch Competition, providing a platform for startups to showcase their ventures. Additionally, EMAAR will host a workshop hall at SEF 2024, offering specialized workshops and masterclasses from global authorities.

Mohamed Alabbar, EMAAR’s founder, expressed excitement about being part of SEF 2024, considering it a chance to contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship. He highlighted EMAAR’s commitment to setting the stage for future business leaders and supporting the bright minds shaping the UAE’s business landscape.

The ‘Startup Town’ at SEF 2024 will be a vibrant hub with engaging discussions, pitch competitions, workshops, and direct feedback from industry leaders. EMAAR’s sponsorship will include a ‘Canadian Pavilion’ and an ‘EDT Tech Pavilion’ showcasing startups from Canada and the EdTech industry, respectively.

The Founder Stage will host insightful talks and activities, covering topics like raising capital, scaling startups, and co-founder dynamics. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to gain insights from H.E. Mohamed Al Abbar in a talk titled ‘Towering Success: What it Takes to Build a Business Empire.’

EMAAR’s influence extends to the SEF Pitch Competition’s Tech Track, providing emerging startups a chance to pitch for funding and support. Notable startups in the Tech Track include HireSmart AI, AR Engineering, Holofair, Jalebi, and Viewit.

EMAAR will also sponsor a workshop hall at the SEF Academy, offering practical insights and skills from industry experts to future leaders. The interactive learning environment aims to foster idea exchange and resonate with participants beyond the festival.
