Four expats from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan won AED 50,000 each in Big Ticket’s second weekly e-draw of January, marking a joyous start to 2026.
ABU DHABI: Big Ticket’s second weekly e-draw for January brought smiles to four lucky expats from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, each winning AED 50,000. Their stories reflect the ongoing excitement that Big Ticket brings to the lives of thousands across the UAE.
Rafiqul Islam from Bangladesh secured his win with ticket number 283-016623, purchased online. Overjoyed, he expressed his disbelief and happiness upon hearing the news.
From India, Shafik Paika Mohammed, a 36-year-old Dubai resident originally from Mangalore, has been trying his luck with Big Ticket for nearly a decade. Sharing his AED 50,000 prize with a friend, he said, “This was a wonderful surprise. I plan to bring my family to the UAE more often and enjoy time together.” Shafik remains optimistic and encourages others to stay hopeful and consistent.
Another Indian winner, Mohammed Ali Riyas, won with ticket number 283-181481 and was overwhelmed with the result, sharing his excitement after years of participation.
Irshad Gull from Pakistan, who works with a desert safari tourism company, celebrated his win alongside seven friends with whom he’s entered Big Ticket draws for nearly 10 years. Irshad said, “Winning after a decade feels rewarding. We’ll be splitting the prize and continuing to play together.”
This month’s Big Ticket draw also features a massive AED 20 million grand prize, five AED 1 million consolation prizes, and two more weekly e-draws. Participants who purchase tickets between 22–31 January qualify for the final January e-draw on 1 February.
Adding to the excitement, the Big Win Contest offers cash prizes between AED 50,000 and AED 150,000 to select participants at a live event on 3 February. Winners will be announced via Big Ticket’s website and YouTube channel.
