DUBAI: The UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 has made history, securing a Guinness World Record for the largest international participation in a tactical teams competition. Organised by the UAE Ministry of Interior and hosted by Dubai Police, this year’s edition saw 46 nations competing, surpassing the previous benchmark of 45.

Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, officially received the Guinness World Record certificate from adjudicator Hanan Spears at Training City in Al Ruwayyah. The event was attended by senior officers and tactical team leaders from around the world.

Congratulating Dubai Police, Spears stated, “We are here today to adjudicate a new world record attempt for the largest number of countries participating in a SWAT challenge. This is an official Guinness World Record with 46 nations, surpassing the required threshold of 45 countries to set this record.”

She further confirmed that all Guinness World Records guidelines were met, officially validating the achievement.

With the Guinness World Record now secured, Dubai further cements its position as a global hub for elite security training and tactical innovation.
