UIBC-UAE outlines a 2026 roadmap with four knowledge papers and two business missions to strengthen India–UAE trade, tech, and investment ties.

DUBAI: The UAE-India Business Council – UAE Chapter (UIBC-UC) has unveiled a comprehensive roadmap for 2026, aimed at converting strategic bilateral ambitions into measurable outcomes. Aligned with the USD 200 billion India–UAE trade and investment goal, the roadmap follows the momentum of the recent UAE Presidential visit to India and builds on ongoing CEPA-driven collaborations.

The 2026 programme focuses on three strategic pillars — knowledge creation, business facilitation, and people-to-people engagement — designed to deepen economic alignment and sectoral outcomes between the two nations. At the heart of this effort is a research-led approach, with four knowledge papers scheduled for release to inform deal-making, policy decisions, and bilateral partnerships.

The first paper explores joint India-UAE opportunities in artificial intelligence, covering sectors such as healthcare, logistics, and smart cities. A second paper focuses on the participation of UAE sovereign wealth funds in India’s next infrastructure cycle, including future projects in Gujarat’s Dholera and GIFT City. The third report analyses consumer behaviour and supply chain flows under CEPA, with a focus on scaling Indian exports and MSMEs through Bharat Mart. A fourth paper will detail models for India-UAE co-investment in Africa, supporting energy, logistics, and digital infrastructure projects on the continent.

These studies are positioned not as academic exercises, but as practical tools to support policy coordination and investment execution.

UIBC-UC will also lead two major business missions to India in 2026, enabling both federal and state-level engagements. These will be matched with targeted inbound delegations from India to the UAE, focusing on clean energy, advanced manufacturing, food security, fintech, and healthcare innovation.

The Council’s continued work is guided by its founding trustees, whose ongoing initiatives include social infrastructure such as the UAE-India Friendship Hospital and the Dream School project in Kashmir. These programmes reinforce the Council’s commitment to inclusive, people-centric growth.

Looking ahead, UIBC-UC will also participate as a knowledge partner at the World Governments Summit 2026, further positioning the Council as a bridge between policy ambition and real-world implementation.

Through this outcome-oriented strategy, UIBC-UC aims to solidify the Indo-UAE corridor as one of the world’s most dynamic bilateral relationships.
