Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid visits Arab Health exhibition

Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, visited the 49th Arab Health exhibition, the biggest healthcare event in the Middle East and North Africa. His Highness emphasized the success of the UAE’s healthcare system, attributing it to cooperation between local and federal governments, as well as the private sector. This collaboration ensures that both citizens and residents have access to top-notch healthcare services.

Highlighting the significance of public-private partnerships, Sheikh Mohammed noted their role in enhancing the efficiency of the country’s healthcare sector, making it more competitive and supporting its growth with advanced technologies, facilities, and skilled personnel. These advancements contribute to the overall well-being of society, promoting good health and quality of life for everyone.

Sheikh Mohammed stressed that providing exceptional healthcare services is a top priority for the UAE’s development, aligned with the happiness and well-being of its people. These plans extend beyond UAE residents, reaching people from the region and around the world. Arab Health serves as a platform to exchange successful experiences and practices in healthcare, with exhibitors and attendees gathering in Dubai to share ideas and stay informed about the latest medical advancements.

Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 29 to February 1, 2024, the exhibition boasts over 3,400 exhibitors, 40 international pavilions, and participation from 180 countries. Visitors have a unique opportunity to network, learn about cutting-edge healthcare technology, gain new medical insights, and establish valuable business connections.

During the exhibition tour, Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by key officials, including the UAE Minister of Health and Prevention, the Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority. His Highness visited pavilions of notable companies such as Siemens Healthineers, Cleveland Clinic, Canon, Pure Health, and the Italian pavilion, where he learned about the latest services and products. Arab Health 2024 is divided into nine sectors, covering medical equipment, orthopedics, imaging, IT solutions, wellness, and more.
