Sharjah Light Festival is set to dazzle spectators from February 7, under the patronage of HH Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi.

Sharjah: For the eleventh consecutive year, the Sharjah Light Festival (SLF) is set to dazzle spectators from February 7 to 19, 2024, under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. Organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, this annual event is a highlight on the emirate’s calendar, showcasing the splendor of Sharjah’s Islamic architectural heritage.

The festival will showcase over 15 stunning light displays expertly curated by international artists, unfolding across 12 key locations for 12 consecutive days. The shows will run from 6 pm to 11 pm, with extended hours until midnight on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Newly added locations in this year’s edition include the General Directorate of Sharjah Police, the General Souq – Al Hamriyah, and Kalba Waterfront. The established locations featuring the mesmerizing light shows comprise Khalid Lagoon, Al Majaz Waterfront, BEEAH Group Headquarters, Al Dhaid Fort, Sharjah Mosque, Sheikh Rashid Al Qasimi Mosque, Al Noor Mosque, and Al Rafisah Dam.

In addition to these landmarks, the facades of prominent mosques will also be adorned with captivating light displays. Notable mosques include Al Noor Mosque on Khalid Lake Corniche, the largest mosque in the center of the emirate – Sharjah Mosque, and the Sheikh Rashid Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi Mosque in Dibba Al Hisn. The festival promises to illuminate these locations with captivating visual spectacles, creating a magical ambiance across Sharjah’s key sites.
