Maktoum bin Mohammed opens 49th edition of Arab Health exhibition

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, opened the 49th edition of Arab Health. Arab Health is the biggest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa region. This important event is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 29 to February 1, 2024.

Speaking at the opening, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum highlighted the commitment of Dubai, under the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to further improve its healthcare sector. The focus is on achieving excellence by providing top-notch infrastructure, adopting the latest technologies, and attracting skilled professionals.

Dubai’s dedication to delivering high-quality medical care through strong partnerships between the public and private sectors has significantly boosted its reputation as a leading healthcare hub. His Highness emphasized that by bringing together global healthcare experts and institutions and encouraging excellence and innovation, Dubai continues to establish itself as a premier healthcare destination. Healthcare remains a top priority, aligning with the government’s goal to make Dubai one of the world’s best places to live and work.

Arab Health 2024 is hosting over 3,400 exhibitors, more than 40 international pavilions, and participants from over 180 countries. Visitors have the opportunity to network, explore cutting-edge healthcare technology and insights, and build meaningful business connections.

Accompanied by key officials, including the UAE Minister of Health and Prevention and the Chairman of the Dubai Health Authority, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum toured the exhibition. He visited various pavilions, including those of Dubai Healthcare City, Emirates Health Services, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, Philips, and GE Healthcare, where he learned about their latest services and products. The event is a platform for showcasing advancements in nine sectors, covering medical equipment, imaging, IT systems, and more.

Arab Health 2024 demonstrates Dubai’s ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare, ensuring the well-being of its residents and visitors, and establishing itself as a global leader in the field.
