WhatsApp will now allow you to send HD quality photos

Atlast, WhatsApp is getting a huge upgrade… a high definition upgrade.

According to the brief video Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, released photos posted in high definition will get an HD sticker at the bottom left of the image in the chat. The quality may be altered by users by clicking on that sticker.

Zuckerberg, posted on Facebook that WhatsApp has been updated to allow sharing of HD-quality photographs. Users will have the option to select between the regular resolution and HD when they submit a photo using the app, according to a screen capture of the function.

The number of people using the applications in the Meta family has increased overall, including WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and now Threads. 3.88 billion monthly active users across all of Meta’s applications were active during the most recent quarter, an increase of 6 percent, according to the company’s most recent earnings call.

Almost $32 billion in sales was generated by the corporation during the second quarter of its 2023 fiscal year, an increase of 11% over the same period in the previous year. Facebook, however, was able to reach 3 billion active users per month for the first time during this quarter, setting a new record.

In 2022, Zuckerberg took up training in both Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Since then, he has been open about his love for the two sports. Zuckerberg competed in a BJJ tournament on May 6, 2023, and won both a silver and gold medal in gi and no gi, competing at white belt. On July 22, 2023, Zuckerberg was promoted to blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu by Dave Camarillo.
