Saudi Arabia introduces Smart Robot near Prophet’s Mosque in Medinah for assistance

Medinah: The Madinah branch of the Saudi Ministry of Health unveiled the Smart Robot service on Saturday in the Central Area near the Prophet’s Mosque, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). This initiative aims to disseminate educational messages, guidance, and health instructions to pilgrims in over 96 languages worldwide, enhancing safety and awareness.

Additionally, the Health Ministry branch in Madinah has volunteer and awareness teams actively engaged in fieldwork. With 220 male and female volunteers and over 12 teams operating round the clock, they cater to the needs of pilgrims. Their services include offering health and emergency assistance during the Hajj season at various key locations such as the Prophet’s Mosque, its access roads, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, and Haramain Train Station. They also extend their services to mosques like Quba, Khandaq, Sayyid Al-Shuhada, and Miqat Dhul-Hulaifah.

The introduction of the Smart Robot service aligns with the broader efforts to leverage technology in enhancing services and communication with pilgrims.
