Salik will manage parking at Dubai Mall from July 1

Dubai: The Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest and the most visited place on earth, announced a change to its parking system in collaboration with Salik, Dubai’s exclusive toll gate operator.

Salik’s technology will make parking easier at Dubai Mall starting July 1. Visitors won’t need tickets; instead, fees will be automatically deducted from Salik accounts using vehicle plate recognition in Fashion, Grand, and Cinema parking zones while Zabeel and Fountain Views parking remain free.

The first four hours on weekdays and six hours on weekends are complimentary.

As per Emaar announcement, the new parking system aims to enhance guest experience, improve parking availability, and streamline the process.

This system, managed by Salik under an agreement with Emaar Malls, will operate for five years. With over 4.1 million active vehicles already registered, Salik expects smooth implementation without needing to attract new customers.

“Salik”, which means “seamless mobility” in Arabic, is known for managing Dubai’s toll gates, aims to simplify both your parking and commuting experiences.
