Dubai government entities review ambitious ‘Dubai 10X’ projects

Dubai: In the latest phase of the Dubai 10X initiative, government bodies in Dubai came together to assess the advancement of projects aimed at enhancing residents’ and visitors’ quality of life, improving transportation within the emirate, and promoting community well-being.

This phase received approval from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of various important councils and foundations.

Representatives gathered under the umbrella of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) to discuss plans for executing these projects in collaboration with different stakeholders. They also discussed strategies to expedite project implementation. Attendees included representatives from various Dubai government bodies such as The Executive Council of Dubai, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, and others like Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, and Emirates Airlines.

Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of the Roads and Transport Authority, praised the initiative, highlighting its alignment with the leadership’s vision to advance government services and enhance Dubai’s global standing.

Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, commended the initiative for its role in making Dubai a leader in health services and future readiness.

Suzan Al Anani, CEO of Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, expressed gratitude for the support from visionary leaders, acknowledging their role in turning ambitious visions into reality.

Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of DFF, emphasized the initiative’s importance in fostering innovation and cooperation among government entities, furthering Dubai’s journey towards becoming a future-ready city.

Belhoul also noted that the projects approved under Dubai 10X will contribute to Dubai’s development and its status as a global leader in innovation and government excellence.

Since its launch in 2017, the Dubai 10X initiative has catalyzed the creation of impactful projects, enhancing government services and addressing various challenges. It has positioned Dubai as a hub for innovative government practices and encouraged collaboration among government entities.
