Swingers just announced that it will expand its euphoric brand of “crazy golf” to a number of new sites by 2026, which is yet another indication that the experience economy has firmly sprung back to life.

The UK import, which combines cocktails with street food, music, and indoor miniature golf, said today that its first Las Vegas site will open the following year at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The facility will have 40,000 square feet, three floors, and no less than five golf courses. Swingers refers to the venue as its “flagship” and guarantees a rich, sensory-rich experience that will introduce Sin City to the idea of the English-style “country house.”

The announcement follows the completion of a Series C investment round in which Competitive Socialising, the parent business of the brand, secured $52 million from Cain International and other investors with the intention of expanding to at least 15 sites. The business announced that in addition to opening a new site in Vegas, it will also open a new location so on Dubai’s Bluewaters Island.

“I think when it ends people are going to be even more keen to go and have offline experiences, and we’re going to be very happy to be here to help them do that,” Grech-Smith said.

The brand’s 1920s style, Instagram-friendly golf courses, and casual, adults-only atmosphere appear to make it the perfect night out for Gen Z and millennial crowds looking for shareable experiences in a post-pandemic world. Swingers has a location in New York City’s NoMad district in addition to two sites in Washington, D.C., and two in London.

Both the Dubai and Las Vegas locations are expected to open to the public in 2024.
