Samsung may integrate ChatGPT into Internet Browser app

San Francisco: Samsung, the tech titan, could incorporate ChatGPT into its Internet Browser application. According to Android Authority, this information was made available via the code contained in Samsung Internet Browser v22.0.0.54.

The strings give away the possibility that ChatGPT integration in the browser is an unreleased Labs feature. Users should find it simpler to execute queries on ChatGPT using the browser without needing to go to the ChatGPT website.

“There is a ChatGPT settings placeholder and another one for selecting the ChatGPT model,” the report said.  Users will probably be able to summarize existing web pages using ChatGPT, which could be a helpful browser feature.

The study also stated that the ChatGPT integration for the Samsung Internet Browser app is not currently operational. The access and functionality offered by third-party browser plugins for ChatGPT are available, but they cannot be compared to a first-party integration.

The tech giant has, however, updated its web browser’s beta version in April of this year with three new features to enhance the usefulness of the program.
