Dubai’s 3ft-tall Internet sensation Abdu Rozik meets Sheikh Mohammed in London

Residents of Dubai are familiar with Abdu Rozik because he frequently adorns our social media feeds with his popular selfies next to well-known figures. We’ve seen them all, from athletes to actors.

But who would have imagined that Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, would make an unexpected appearance on Instagram?

The online sensation was pictured smiling broadly and giving the thumbs up in a photo that was posted on Instagram on Monday.

The leader is pictured seated in a London restaurant as he wraps his arm around Rozik for the picture.

“When I first moved to UAE, I never imagined in my life that I would have this moment with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum,” the singer remarked, expressing his thanks for the country. “Allhamdulillah for everything and bless the United Arab Emirates and those who support me.”

More than 200,000 people liked the post, and in the comments, netizens praised the duo with heartfelt and wholesome comments.

Several images and videos showing the Dubai Ruler with his brother Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid, as well as sightings of him walking around Hyde Park, posing for photos with children, and visiting a Harrods store, have gone viral over the past week.

Abdu Rozik, who is originally from Tajikistan, rose to fame after he made an appearance on Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s talk show ‘Bigg Boss 15’.
