e& H1 2026 results show revenue rose 11.6% to AED38.1 billion, while the telecom group’s subscriber base grew to more than 251 million worldwide.
ABU DHABI: UAE technology and telecom group e& has reported a strong start to 2026, posting higher revenue, growing profits and a sharp increase in its global customer base.
According to its latest financial results, e& H1 2026 results showed consolidated revenue reached AED38.1 billion during the first six months of the year, an increase of 11.6% compared with the same period last year.

The group’s consolidated net profit stood at AED6 billion, up 2.4% year-on-year, excluding the impact of one-off gains recorded in the first half of 2025. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also grew by 13.1% to AED17.7 billion, with an EBITDA margin of 46.5%.
Customer growth remained one of the biggest drivers of the company’s performance. e&’s total subscriber base increased by 30.4% to 251.5 million, while the number of customers in the UAE reached 16.5 million, up 6.4% from a year earlier.
The company said the growth was driven by strong demand for its telecom services, digital solutions and AI-powered products for both consumers and businesses.

During the reporting period, e& also completed a strategic review of its international investments. The group sold its entire stake in Vodafone Group, generating AED21.9 billion in gross cash proceeds and a net cash gain of around AED4.8 billion.
It also sold 12.5% of its stake in Careem Technologies to Uber for AED367 million, as part of its ongoing strategy to optimise its investment portfolio.
Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Alzaabi, Chairman of e&, said the results reflect the company’s ability to turn regional and global challenges into opportunities while continuing to invest in digital infrastructure and advanced technologies.

Group CEO Masood M. Sharif Mahmood said the company’s strong performance highlights the strength of its business model and its focus on innovation, artificial intelligence and disciplined investment.
He added that e& remains well positioned to invest in next-generation digital infrastructure, expand its technology portfolio and support the UAE’s vision of becoming a global leader in digital transformation.
The e& H1 2026 results underline the group’s continued growth as it strengthens its presence across international markets while investing in future technologies and AI-led digital services.
