UAE plays pioneering role in spreading values of tolerance and peace

Abu Dhabi: Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, highlighted the significance of the session titled “The Role of Tolerance and Coexistence in Sustainable Economic Growth,” held during the inauguration of the “World Governments as Incubators for Tolerance” conference. This event took place on the sidelines of the AIM Congress 2024, showcasing the UAE’s pivotal role in promoting tolerance and peace values.

Al Jarwan, in a statement to agencies, commended the agreements signed by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence with the Ministries of Investment in Honduras and Production, Foreign Trade, Investment, and Fisheries in Ecuador, as well as the cooperation agreement with Austria. These agreements reinforce the UAE’s commitment to spreading tolerance and peace values globally, aiming to attract partners worldwide.

He praised Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan’s speech during the conference, emphasizing the main pillars addressed, particularly the promotion of tolerance values. These values positively impact UAE society by strengthening them within institutions and among individuals, reflecting the country’s positive image in this regard.

Al Jarwan highlighted the UAE’s rich humanitarian heritage, established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and continued by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Their efforts have strengthened the culture of tolerance and coexistence, making it a sustainable aspect of UAE society, embraced by both citizens and residents.
