Manama: The 33rd Arab Summit commenced today at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain is chairing the summit, taking over from Saudi Arabia.
The opening session included the handover of the Summit’s Presidency from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain and featured speeches from Arab leaders and distinguished guests.
In the subsequent session, attendees will adopt the draft summit agenda, draft resolutions, and the Bahrain Declaration, which will be announced during the closing session.
